This is my "old Room" since these pics the entire space has been rebuilt with extra lighting, painted ceiling and carpet!

I always thought it was CAIS or CRIS...

I have looked but not joined this site for a while now. I just reloaded my first rounds of rounds this past thursday. I thought i'd just give a pic of my press swaps. Well here's a small attempt to clear some space on my bench. I am making a benchtop that slides in the three sets to give me my flat surface back with a removable gun vise.

Well, I have been needing a new, larger reloading bench as you can see from the photo. I went to Lowes Thursday morning and gathered up material and finished yesterday afternoon.

The top is 2 pieces of 3/4" OSB glued together and then a 3/4" piece of plyboard was glued and screwed to that (screws from the bottom). It is plenty sturdy, I could park my truck on it. As you can see the old one had holes drilled, plugged and drilled again. I decided this one was not going to end up that way. I have ordered Pat Marlin's RockDock system. It will go right above the stool. I have height set at 38" so I can sit on the stool or stand. It is a comfortable level for both.

The drawer will have an insert drilled with 1" holes for dies storage. The cabinet beneath the drawer opens and a shallow drawer comes out for powder cannister storage. I am remodeling a bedroom and the clutter around my bench will eventually go back in that room.

Overall, I am pleased and glad to have a new and LARGER reloading bench.

    Regards, Malcolm

I don't think I've posted the bench yet. It's getting a little cramped, so I may relocate to a larger bench.

    My Man Cave

Last November my wife built me a 16x20 two story work shop in the backyard. Of course when I came home from Afghanistan for two weeks I had some work cut out for me. Here's the shelves and benches that I built.

Here's a pic after I got stuff moved in. From the left to right, Lyman 450 bullet luber, MEC 12 ga press (got it used 15 yrs ago, first time mounting it!), Dillon 550, powder stand and RCBS RS2 press. Ammo crates on bottom full of expended brass.

I've got a 40yd range on the side of the building. It has power but still needs AC/heat. It will be a work in progress. Might get a bit done during my next two weeks leave next month.

    combatdiver;
Nice job! Great wife! I have certainly enjoyed my utility barn for these past few years. I started a bit ahead of you and have an A/C and electric heat installed. Insulation was a MOST important element for comfort during weather extremes.

Thank you for your service to our country!!

    Combat Diver,

Nice setup. Just make sure you keep getting back home so you can hug your wife and enjoy her gift to you for a long, long time to come.

    Thanks for your service.

    Thanks guys,

I plan on insulating it later and adding a window AC unit. I'll be home in another week for some good R&R. Got couple new pistols waiting for me (G19, Smith 442 Pro and a Double Star 1911 frame). Do need to load some .380 for the youngest, 44 Mag for the oldest.
