    Went to the range today

This is the first 18 rounds today from my .308. I know most people can shoot alot better but I was glad to just have all of the rounds on paper. The bullet is cast from a Lee C312-155-2R, gas checked, sized to .310 Powder is 22.4 grains of IMR 4198. The lube is Beeswax, Lithium Greese, STP and ATF. I shot these at too fast of pace, load 3, shoot. load 3, shoot ect.

One of the most endearing sights in the world is the vision of a naked good-looking woman leaving the bedroom to make breakfast. Bolivar Shagnasty (I believe that Lazarus Long also said it, but I can't find any record of it.)

Lets see, one random load, barrel fouling condition unknown, rapid fire, 100 yards . . .

Seems to be pretty dang good to me!!

BC, Not bad at all for the 1st outing! Maybe drop the load to 19.0 - 20.5 grs. 4198 and try that CB @ .311" too.

Thanks guys. I have not shot a rifle alot and had developed a flinch with regular velocity loads. my first attempt was with the Lee ''soup can'' bullet. It was real good out to about 50 yards but we try to shoot at 100. I think I got lucky with this rifle as it shoots everything real well. I shoot with a retired marine who is now a KHP Trooper. He is darn good with a rifle and can take my gun with just about any decent hand load or factory round and make it look good. I hope that someday I can shoot half as good as him.
