I am in that club also. Thanks for reminding me to get mine out and shoot it.

I believe the Colt New Frontier is one of the most handsome revolvers ever offered.

I still mourn the occasion, many years ago, when I had a "one time" chance to buy a New Frontier in .44 Special in excellent condition for a VERY reasonable price. I am still kicking myself for passing it by. In addition to its downright beauty, with adjustable sights it is thoroughly practical.

My recent Ruger .44 Lipsey Special will now have to do me (and I believe it is up to the job).

Dale, I know what you mean, Buddy ! Those Miha HG 503 hexagonal HP's just might be too nasty looking, for such a pretty gun . Naaaahhhh A beautifull case of new meets old.

cast-n-blast, you should enter this phoito in castpics, it beats a lot of the ones in there already. Crop it a little on the bottom and you have a great picture.

No new pics, but plenty of old ones. This is a conversion job.

Jerry, Andy Horvath did it a few years ago. His blue jobs are so deep you wanna jump in. I forgot the vintage but I bought the base gun from Holly Hamilton for an extremely reasonable price.

I'm not easly aroused with gun porn pics but this one really turns me on. I really never thought about a 44 specail but I could change my mind for one that looks like that.

And those that are out there ain't going to be sold buy those that have them, I know that if I owned one, it would be buried with me.

My 696s, 4" 24-3s, and 4" 624s would be some of the very last "modern" revolvers to leave my stash !

    Jerry,
Thank you for the kind remarks. I am truly humbled by your collection and photo quality. My grips were made by Jim Badger http://www.badgercustomgrips.com
