Have you checked "Craigs List"? Another thought, If you tell the dealer what you are looking for he may be able to locate something in the dealer network.

    Gray Wolf,
You need to find a vehicle in time to pick me up in Ohio on your way to Winnemucca shoot later this year!

My daddy told me something when I was seventeen that I didn't believe at the time.

I'd found a car I really, really wanted. I thought it was a heckuva deal, and it probably was. Problem was, it cost a bit more than what I had saved up and I would need a (small) loan from the bank. And to get the loan, I had to have my daddy's co-signature.

    He said Nope.

I was crushed, furious, panicky and bewildered.

Then he told me that whenever you find the "great deal," if you can at all possibly hold out, you will find an even BETTER deal.

And all these years later, he's been spot-on right. Every car we've bought (we've yet to buy a brand new one) has been the "second" great deal as we either waited too long on the first "great" deal, or someone bought it before we did, etc.

But every single time, the "second" deal was for a superior car. Not always a superior price, but for what we got, dollar-for-dollar, it was a HUGELY better purchase. Same goes with our boat, and a few other mechanical devices. Same for our house we presently live in.

And since she's out of the house this evening, I can even say the same thing about my beloved wife. (Along with a hearty Thank God that the first "great" deal left me high and dry over twenty years ago before I put a ring on her finger at the altar.)

Have faith, Mr. and Mrs. Gray Wolf. With cash in hand and more coming, you're in the driver's seat to negotiate and be a bit choosier. You WILL find one heckuva a great deal.

    Guaranteed.

As I listen to how the nation has lost its sense of what is right for the people and not for the few who are in power and feel they can speak for all of us.
Here we have stood up to the challenge and helped one of our own and in just a few days and then our government has turned its back on us the people even when we told them we didn't want something.
I just wonder what will be the next big loss for the citizens of this nation, maybe the right to have and bear arms as the rats in Washington seem to be unstoppable anymore. Nothing seems to stop them not what is right for the nation, not what is the right way to solve a problem and most of not what the people want. Oh well at least I can remember when America wasn't a socialist state.
Beware of a government that fears its citizens having the means to protect themselves.

I haven't read every post in this thread but the link below is pretty good for finding used cars and trucks. The problem is, I don't know if there is a Carmax close to Gray Wolf. From what I understand, the price they quote is the price you pay. There is no haggling but they do deliver for a fee.

Down South, thank you. You just gave me a new place to search. It widens things up a bit.

And a resounding Amen to that Praise the Lord!

Mr. & Mrs. Gray Wolf, You are now in the drivers seat! I know that getting a vehicle is urgent but cash money speaks loudly. Do not be afraid to look at something above your price. You can always make an offer. Works for me everytime.
Also, as stated above, the first "great Deal" is probably not the "best deal". Take the time to choose wisely.

The rental places like Enterprise in my area, often have some really clean vehicles for sale - most of the trucks they sell never carried a load, so the miles are "easy".

I logged onto here this morning and found this thread. As I started reading I felt a lump in my throat forming. I've been registered here for almost a year but have been here very little. The compassion shown here is miraculous and nothing short of a miracle from God. I couldn't stop till I had read every post. I'm late but I'm going to kick in also. Praise God for people like you in these perilous times.
