    Buckshot finally made rank. I'm a Granpa!



    Thought it'd never happen! I'm happy to introduce my grand daughter, Adelyn Christian Phillips. Born 3-3-10 at 0511. She was about a month premature. She weighed 5lbs 5oz, 18" long and perfect in every respect. A good set of lungs for being so new

    Apparently she wouldn't cry at first but was obviously having no problems in breathing. Christian said she tried to open her eyes 3 or 4 times and then finally busted out in a caterwaul. I suppose she realized she was in a new place much different from the last, and it did not favorably compare?

    Since she was a bit premature she's being kept in the NICU although she isn't oxygen tented, intubated or anything else. She'll be released as soon as she will eat an ounce at each feeding. At the 1800 feed this evening she took 6cc's so she's working on it. Christian will be able to leave tomorrow at noon. Hopefully Adelyn will be able to leave this weekend.
