    Need Some Recipes

Just wondering what people have been using
in their 357 maxis using these boolits:

    lyman 358156 gas checked

Just got them and was wanting to use them in my
    Handi rifle.

Only powders I have available right now are IMR 4227
and W296 but any loads would be appreciated.

    .357 max handi rifle

I have loaded over 21.0 grs H110 ( W296 ) behind the #358156, BUT this loading was HOT in my rifle.

Decided that this was more velocity than I wanted or needed, so I backed down to a medium load of #2400 and switched to small pistol primers. Still a huge velocity jump just due to the extra barrel length.

Thanks George, that was the specific info I was looking for, not how to cook fish.

So I'm thinking 18-19 grains of W296 should be a good starting point in my 22 inch handi?
