burner for smelter, take a look

I came across these burners, thought you all would like to have a look. They have what looks like a bunch of propane torch tips mounted in a cast iron ring. These could be the ultimate burner for a large smelter. The largest one pumps out 880,000 btu!!

I've always used a single high pressure burner under a pot that holds 70lbs of melt. With a bit of searching around junk shops, the whole setup cost $45 including the pot!

the burner from a old gas hot water heater works well ( I hear). .....Buck

My brother- in- law made one out of a hot water heater we used it for frying fish for years then I got it and melted alot of lead on it a friend of mine in KY has it now that thing has done some traveling in it life time 44Woody

I use a single burner Coleman Gas Camping stove. It works great. I got a little cast iron pot from my grandpa holds maybe 20 pounds. I welded up a grate with legs so the pot isnt as tippy on the stove. Im still new to casting and picking up on things as I go, thats how I learn the best by doing, and from what I read on this site.

Thanks for the link, I was looking for a cast iron kettle all this time. The website indicated "free shipping", if it is so, and I'll contact the company, I'll have them ship it to Hawaii. If not, I'll continue to use my stainless steel pot(s) that I usually purchase at my local thrift shop for $3.00.
