If you can find it buy some Fiocchi 22 mag softpoints, at least for me this is the only 22 mag I've ever had that will shoot moa, and that"s out of a 94/22, the rest is all at least twice that. it is also cheaper if you can find it.
Just have to brag. An Aunt of mine had a short marriage to a lawyer who had a ranch in New Mexico, complete with gongs setup at about 50 and 100 yds off his front porch. While visiting them one day and shooting the gongs with my Single Six, my then Uncle, blessed me with a ammo box full of WW .22 Mags, 1/2 HPs and 1/2 solids. He recieved them as partial payment for a lawyer bill someone owed him, and he didn't have a use or care for them. I did....all 40 something boxes. That was in the early 80's and I still have 4 or 5 boxes left.
I don't shoot that .22 Mag hardly ever, just b/c I don't want to buy the ammo. However, I do like the pop and fizz of .22 Mag. I wish I could reload for that caliber. Now days I shoot .38 spl instead.

You can ship ammo UPS. You tell them what it is and they label it as such, Then you have to pay a little extra for "adult signature required" You MUST go to a UPS terminal, those pack-and -mail centers won't do it . Some states have state laws prohibiting shipment to them, though. I've done it a good many times, and recently.

Just wanted to comment on that Federal stock number 757 22WMR 50 gr jhp.
That is the most consistent 22wmr ammo I've ever used in my Savage 93fvss.
It gives me very tight groups off a rest and bench.
Your ammo is cheaper than my ammo straight across the board. I'm averaging 14 to 16 bucks a box for ir here. WHEN I can even find it! Plenty of 22LR around, but 22wmr is getting to be about as rare as hens teeth.

I got a box of them........
The best in my gun (Ruger Single Six) was the Federal Premium loaded with the 30gr Speer TNT. Y=The worst was the Hornady loaded with 30gr V-Max. Could hardly hit paper with them, and it was leaving unburnt powder in the case and barrel, making it very dirty.
Is it all 22's that are finniky or just the rimfires? I've heard 22 Hornet can be tiresome, and I've heard .222 can be as well.

Trey,
It depends a lot on who you listen to.
The .222 had a reputation for being very easy to load for, back in the day.
.22 rimfires can be picky about what they will shoot with best accuracy. I shot a bunch of different kinds of ammo in my new Ruger Single-Six Hunter to find the best one. Federal Champions shoot into about an inch at 25 yards while most others average 2-1/2" or greater.
