got the pot heating up right now in fact
Do you put butter on it? Nice
Elmer would approve! What are you going to shoot that corn out of?
Mihec 452-200 cramer, but actually they weigh about 191 gr.
Here's the 1911 I shoot these through. Slugs out to .4515.
What size die should I use, .452 or .453?
Right fine lookin boolits Mr Tippet.
What I use for a general rule for sizing semi-auto boolits is the largest diameter that will chamber flawlessly. When starting with a new combination I load 5 dummy rounds and cycle them through manually to find the largest diameter that will chamber in my gun. If they cast large enough and .453" chambers perfectly I would start there.

kimber should shoot 452's just fine.
but if you got both sizers and the 53's will chamber try them both, side by side the target will tell you if you have a clear winner.
cbrick, please forgive my ignorance, Why would .453 be better than .452? Wouldn't that extra thousandth increase pressure and leading?
