Carcano Mosquito 6.5 Carbine at long range? Will it do it?

For my Birthday today, I bought a very nice Carcano Moshetto"Mosquito" in 6.5 with the adjustable rear sight and folding bayonet. The bore is like new, and I loaded up some .267 140 grain FMJ's over BL-C2 powder. MV should be 2,200 FPS and I'm hoping the bullet will still be supersonic at 800 yards My other Carcano model rifles do OK at this distance out of the rifles.
The only other carbines I have are the fixed sight for 300 meters in 6.5 and 8MM and trying to find the hold over is a waste of ammo.
I'll post the results next Saturday. It will be fun trying to hit the target either way.

The carbines never had gain twist rifling.

My carbine was made in 1942, with the old adjustable rear sight by FNA-B. The Carcano sight says it has "Constant" rifling.

1916 Brescia, 1918 Brescia both gain twist - 1936 Gardone conventional rifling [ also has adjustable short carbine sight ] - need better camera to get bore picture - also have a 1920 Beretta with gain twist at daughters in SC. -
