    Does anyone know what year?

Lyman switched from red to orange paint? I have an old 55 powder measure that is in the original box and seems to have a factory original red paint job.

    Thanks in advance!

If nobody gives you a positive answer (I don't know..!) give Lyman customer service a phone call and ask them.

Great idea, thanks! I had just assumed it was repainted really well but I’m sure after looking again today that it is original.

I've never seen a red one. All I've seen are orange and grey. I have a grey one. The orange has changed shades over the years, are you sure it's red factory?

the Lyman Comet press was red and so was the All-American... maybe 50's or 60's vintage?

Pretty sure, I have another that’s black and silver, sort of a hammer tone finish.
