Grieving is a process and it takes time. Don't even think about the guns, they are just stuff and you can get around to them in time.

With time you'll heal and get through this. It's natural to grieve, and healthy to grieve. With suicide, you will always have questions, and some will never be answered. Spend time with your family and be there for is family as best you can.

Thank you for all the wisdom. I know objectively what everyone is saying. Just the little red guy on my shoulder whispering messes with me. I'm taking his firearms, but not the one used to shoot himself. That one is going to his ex's brother in law. So I'll be calling next week to make arrangements. I know about transferring, but in this instance I wonder the best way to do it. The ex is letting her bil work with me, but he isn't the owner. Her sons technically are the owners of the firearms according to Virginia law where all this took place. So do I work out a transfer with one of his sons or a bill of sale or can I just back up the truck and bring them home. Leaning towards the transfer because I live Pa.
