    Colt date of manufacture

I rescued an early Colt King Cobra from the funshop yesterday. Beautiful Blue, 4 inch barrel wearing the original pachmayr grips with golden colt emblem. Cylinder gap at .004 all the way around. I dont think it has ever been open, the lockworks were dry as a bone. No lube, no nothing. Got her cleaned up and lubed. The double action is a bit heavy but soooo smooth.
I have tried to look up the serial number on several websites with no luck. Its probably early 80's but no luck finding out yet.
