Dang, this casting "hobby" is killing me !!!
I cast for a bunch of friends, all of us shoot ALOT !!
Decided I needed another 357 Kieth mold to increase production.
On to MP's site, ordered Tuesday evening, shipped Weds, DHL sez delivery Friday.
The man's molds are worth the price/tariff/etc.
Looked at NOE. Same basic slug, in aluminum (nothing against alum - I just prefer brass), non HP - about the same price.
I'm a high volume shooter, worth it to me.

I got mine in 3 days. I wasn't thrilled about all the taxes but as soon as I saw the mold, nothing else mattered.

For me, the only thing is, I have a hard time getting the cutting oil cleaned off.
Others have said they just heat it up and cast, some use boiling Dawn dish soap water and scrub, others like carb/brake cleaner.
I boil, scrub, heat cycle, you name it.
Still just have to cycle lead thru it till slugs come out nice.
Once seasoned / clean - no better mold.
I have molds from all the players; in alum, iron and brass.
MP brass for the win.
My new mold is a .357 "Keith type". I looked at US products v/s MP considering price/tariffs.
Even forgetting MP has the best hollow point system, the prices all in were about the same.
And, I have never gotten a US mold in 3 days.

Funny because i was going to buy an noe yesterday, then i saw the price and even with the discount its over 260$...i cancelled...i dont want it that much really.

I’ve purchased a few NOE’s lately on their previous sale mostly-and none of them were anywhere near close to that $260, in fact, iirc all 3 I bought were about that much combined.

Almost to the point where it seems like a mistake or something.
Also look at post #15 in this thread. I know i bought molds from them during the sale as well...not the same anymore.

Guess it depends on the mold-and those are brass too. Most expensive one I ordered was a 5 cavity (it was the one the had in the specifics I wanted), 360-249-RN-V2 GC and it was $114 retail, but discounted to $92. I got a 2 cavity 476-374-FN-CJ1 for $75.
Yes, I heard they did a price adjustment since. Nothing ever gets cheaper with time.

The prices on the NOE four-cavity HP moulds took a big jump up. I casually dropped one into my cart today, saw the price at checkout, and thought I had accidentally ordered two of them. I decided a two-cavity HP was adequate for my needs.
Remember: Ammo will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no ammo.
Do NOT use Midway as a baseline for low price!! Their prices have gone through the roof since Larry retired. I guess the kids want to get rich (richer) quick and then sell the company to an investment firm that will again raise the prices until the business folds. How many times have we seen that now?
Accurate has the best molds i have ever used. made here, no tariffs round bullets, at the size you want. Why go anywhere else except for the very small bullets. I am very thamkful that i found them .I was so tired of the wrong sizes too big and too small and no customer service. Thank you Accurate molds!!!
Okay, To keep it an "apples to apples" comparison, the same 2 moulds from 2 different well know online suppliers

Lyman 452374 4cav $144.94 + 4% state tax = $150.74
Midsouth Shooters Supply: RCBS 45-230-RN 45 2 cav $172.99 + 4% state tax = $179.91
Lyman 452374 4cav $127.63 + 4% state tax = $132.74

I'm thankful to have put my MP mold selection together before the tariffs. Still another 2 or 3 I'd like to get, but I'll likely wait for hopefully the tariffs to go away. But, even with the tariff the pricing isn't too bad, especially if you order enough for free shipping.
Yes it was. Wish it had a handle on the sprue plate, really that's the only thing I can say negative about it, other than that, it is glorious.
