Extra heavy buffer for 9mm blowback rifle

How did you contact them? I looked on their website and only saw a support email address. I will gladly send an email in support of a bolt 9mm.

That is the method that i've used. Several emails back and forth with the support staff. They are very friendly and all have the same response that they will forward my idea to the development department but at this time, there is no plan to build a bolt action 9mm... The 22tcm carbine that they have could easily be made in 9mm from their factory since it already uses 9mm mags and would just need a 9mm chambered barrel.

Show me a 9mm rifle with a 24” barrel that isn’t a semi automatic and I’ll seriously consider it. Otherwise my 24” blank going on something custom is next in line after the existing ar options are exhausted.

The heavy buffer idea was a bandaid thought to get closer to what I want with minimal expensive custom work. And it would have been easily reversed and put back to factory specs when desired. If it’s going to be a cantankerous single shot that won’t feed from glock magazines I already bought, then I’d rather have a break action that’s at least easy to put the cartridge in the chamber.

How about just using a louder target so you can here something other than cycling action, auto or manual?

AR FP is captured by the cam pin until 'close' to locked. Aks had to put a spring on it to prevent slam fires/multiples.

Easy solution is a 9mm barrel on a contender donor, you cut the donor barrel off then drill and internal thread, then turn and thread the 9mm barrel screw the 9mm in to make a 16.25" carbine barrel. Put a carbine stock on it. You have a 50 K action and a fully supported chamber with 160 grain 38 Super cast round nose and AA #7 you can get to 9mm Major power ratings easily.

If you have a Contender, it is the easiest conversion besides a handy rifle.
