Ordered out a few dozen of Curt's Texas chert flints and have been quite happy with the results in all my flintlock muzzleloaders. I asked Curt for "fine" single edge flints sized for different locks and he did not disappoint! Besides being superb flints the cost is about half of English and French flints ... that sure works for me!

Keep an eye on the frizzen, I found the Burlington chert really gouged the frizzens on mine. Report back if you see any extraordinary wear. I do have some of the Texas flint I could make some flints from.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

"Is it gray to gray blue? If so, then that is probably Georgetown. Most of them are Georgetown but some are Texas rootbeer or other cherts. I use any chert that I am knapping that sparks well and I can get good flakes from. Burlington usually works well but is weaker than Georgetown so often wears out a little quicker. I do have some Burlington as well but I haven't made any flints out of it yet."
