    FX DRS Classic .25cal

First time shooting this gun. I have no numbers to post. Just sighted in off hand and playing. It seems very accurate. It's loud and fast with 25gr JSB pellets. I will tune it to 880ish FPS.

I bought the grade 2 Wood. I'm disappointed in the stock. Looks like sapp wood in the butt stock. Other side is pretty plain.

I ordered offset rings. The scope needs to go forward. Can't get a magizine under the turret.

I'm wanting to shoot more at home. Hoping this sparks my airgun interest again.IMG_20250426_122022311.jpg

If your stock is not Painted with Polyurethane IE: Open Wood or Oil Finished a few coats of Tru Oil would perk it right up. If it is painted then some Jasco Paint Remover will remove the paint then a quick sanding and then Tru Oil.

Otherwise the grain looks pretty nice to me?

Sorry about reviving this terribly ancient post, but I’ve been considering the very same rifle. Any chance for a 1 year shooting review,@GARD72977 ?
    Accuracy especially, shot count, reliability??
    Thanks

Sorry for the late response. I have not shot it a lot. Maybe 12 shooting sessions. Overall I'm very happy with it. My only complaint is the trigger is adjustable on the stem. It does not stay tight. Easy fix but I have not done it. Let us know what you ended up buying.
