    32 Auto Pistol Reloading

I have a Bond Arms 32 Caliber Derringer coming soon. Replacing a 25 caliber.
Will I need a Taper Crimp Set of dies to reload this caliber for a derringer? Do you use a Taper Crimp Die for your 32 Auto reloads.
I use RCBS dies for my other reloads and will be getting a set for the 32 Auto as well.
I also plan to make a few Shot Shells as well.
Thank you for the advice and recommendations.

As long as it chambers freely, you may not even need to crimp for a derringer. Just don't over flare the case mouth.

Just finished reading a great post by “Outpost75” back in 2017 “What mould for 32 ACP”
He gave the most detailed information anyone could use regarding the 32 caliber. Complete with loads, powders, guns etc.
Far more information than for my needs, but perfectly detailed.
As my needs are for a side arm carry while hunting, and only for a “if needed” survival weapon. I don’t think I will ever need more than 20 rounds in my lifetime.
Great information and I’ll be using it soon.
    Thank you Outpost75!
    Highly recommend reading!

Sounds like me deciding to buy a box of 380 ammo, I do not buy ammo. The stupidity of a reduced size or amount box and the prices was unpleasant so I bought a full setup for my Dillon, including a $90 taper crimp die. The cartridges and short barrel guns are table top distance guns or backup gun, so pin point accuracy is nice but not really essential for their intended purpose.

I’ll have to retool a bit myself. My use is strictly survival. Not unlike the once issued AR7 but not as cumbersome to carry while hunting.

Judging by the AR7 I had in the 1980's, your derringer has a good chance of outshooting one. I know my second model Colt Woodsman would outdo the one I had with the same ammo. The Colt was more reliable too.
