    Unique and 2400 available

I just got an email this morning from Ballistic Products. They have both Unique and 2400 in stock. Use code FLATX for 7.99 flat shipping.

At just under $70.00 for a lb of Unique, Alliant values it more than I do, they can keep it.

Thanks for the heads up, but, at those prices, I’ll probably shoot up what I have, which will probably run me till the end.
Supply and demand will regulate the market prices.
I firmly believe that you should only get treated by how you act, not by who or what you are!!

I feel the same way but I have no need for it. I would likely buy if I had worked up loads that worked best with a powder and nothing else came close. So, I surmise they will sell it and if they don't have much to sell, they will make a handsome profit. If they had tons of it, and it was sitting in the warehouse a few months, the price would come down.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm good on unique right now. I know, $70 a lb is like from a blackmarket vendor but unless really lucky I've not seen much alliant powder under $60 a lb for years except for a sale on BE86 awhile back.

A dollar isn't worth a dollar anymore, you have to take that into consideration from now on.

if prices were not inflated I'd buy more but alliant has run their course with me, I now look elsewhere for powders unless they get practical with their pricing. Sounds like I'm not alone here.

Surely the prices will come down in time. Reset so to speak. Kinda like primers. They are a little more in line now than they were for a time. Anyway, I have two pounds Unique for now and three pounds BE-86 on the shelf. I also like W231 and No.5.

I was fourced to find alternatives for Unique and blue dot in the time of this price gouging, I went to W244 for a local store at about 1/3 of that price, I don't see changing what works at those prices.

There are better and less costly powders out there. They can keep their stuff at those prices!

Alliant has lost a good percentage of their customer base. First they cut off supplies for an extended period of time, then they increased prices to above what a lot of consumers are willing to pay. Because of this many reloaders have searched out better and less expensive options. I'm guessing, but they might have restricted civilian powder production so that they could support military contracts. (that or conflicts caused a restriction on raw materials) Either way, they weren't transparent with their customer base, and now that they have alienated most of those customer, good luck getting them back later after they have worked up loads using other powders.
