    Trail Boss back on sale

Well, i is back but the price is something else. 9 ounces for 44.00!!! I do not care if it is fluffy and 9 ounces fits in a1 lb container, 44.00 for 9 ounces? Just looked and it is gone already, I guess someone REALLY likes to spend money.

Its doubled in price here, where its made .....now its A$400 /US$300 for 3.3lbs .....last jug I bought was A$130 for 3.3lbs .......All the ADI pistol powders have had similar increases.....fortunately the IMR types are only slightly increased in price.

There are some that really like it.
When it wasn't readily available, it was selling for $100+ for the 9 oz bottle. I have a few, but typically only use trailboss for my 300 BLK subsonic loads.

I have never used it, my Cowboy Action buddies said it was the best stuff ever for cowboy loads, but by the time I got into the sport, it was already gone.

I cringed reading that. I did a quick google search on the Average income there versus here. Assuming I got it right the average Australian income is around a A$100,000 and the average U.S Income is $67,000 U.S of course. A$1.52=US$1.00. or the A$1 is worth $0.66US.

Looking at that it does cut some of the shock out of down under pricing. Either way it coasts both of us dearly. You don’t seem to get a break on same continent shipping!

And just doing a second googling with different sources the average numbers seem to differ so I guess take anything I found with a grain of salt.

There are certainly better alternatives for light loads. Some people seem to just walk around with their wallet open and allow anyone to just take what they want.

I bought the big jug back in ‘18, and then traded for 3 more bottles. When it’s gone, I probably won’t buy any more of it. It’s not a bad powder, it has its applications, but the price has to come down from today’s prices! Having an unopened container of Clays, might be a minute till I need some more pistol powder. Just my opinion.
I firmly believe that you should only get treated by how you act, not by who or what you are!!

Buy it while you can if you need it. The gun shop I work for part time got three containers of it. It's not a pound. So it is expensive. I think powder makers are going the way of the coffee producers. A pound of coffee is now 11 ounces.

Sportsman's Warehouse has it at their distribution site for $42.99/bottle. If you order it on their website, they will ship it for free / no haz to your local Sportsman's Warehouse. I don't think any local Sportsman's have it in stock. So it's a SHIP TO proposition only at the moment.

Hodgdon lists the 2lb jug but doesn't have any in-stock that I can see. Gone are the days of the bog 5lb IMR container.
