Why is there no trigger spring kits for the contender. My trigger is #4.5
I need to lighten it to say #2.25

The spring from a disposable Bic lighter works great, simply cut it to the correct length.

You can simply stretch the original spring some and then snip it off shorter. That will lighten it some. The bic spring does work as well

Bellum sells all of the springs and has a mod to put a ball bearing in the trigger (didn't try it yet). If you order anything make sure you buy an extra hammer spring or two. After 30 years mine broke.

I got the spring and ball bearing from Bellm.
Spring is great, dropped to #2.25
The bearing is pointless
