Vettepilot;
Look at page 222, at the bottom. That should help. Look back from there and I think it will be close, where he posted about the kiln, as well.

Pucked up and ground 400 more grams of powder. Used 3% moisture this time - similar grinding results though even though I probably did 20 passes, most with the coarse setting.
Ended up with a bit over half 3F, the rest fines. May need even more water. Or perhaps I can just deal with it as is. It's very functional after all.
Got the 3F glazing right now.
And since I'm building up more and more powder, it really needs to go into a bottle.

Thanks Doublebuck! That "search" function is worthless.
I like that label Printedboolits! Nice work, and thanks for sharing it!

This thread is definitely the buried gold mine of BP making. I was able to make "powder" watching Jake, but the tips in here let me make great powder much more easily.
Take a bow BP buddies you earned it.
I'm interested in that too so I'll just link it here https://castboolits.gunloads.com/sho...=1#post5274502
Got a new toy today, a Lee .454 double cavity ball mold for the .44.

No, the powder dries too fast, and I don't know that I'd get good consistent results trying to re wet things. I've just thrown all the fines back into the mill with a new batch of powder. Maybe in cooler weather it's something I could try.
The bottle is an empty Swiss powder container - It's just got a 3D printed spout on it.
Thinking about ordering some of these. I liked the old school metal cans.

That's what I had been doing but it seems to press out fine if you do it all in one sitting. I need to start chrono testing to know for sure but DB is getting good results doing that.
I like those cans, I still have an old Goex like that. The final polish to our craft lol.
