Right off the bat I disliked the strap as it was whimpy. I already found a 1.5" web strap so I can't think of anything else that's negative with this holster. It is for the 1911/Gov't and strangely it also fits perfectly my Ruger Flattop .44 Special w/4.75" bbl. The retention strap even works fine with both guns. The overall build quality of this holster is excellent. Its very well made.
