Field holster for Ruger Flattop .44 Spec 4.75 bbl & .45 auto

From <gasp!> Temu. Cost less than 9 buckaroos.

Right off the bat I disliked the strap as it was whimpy. I already found a 1.5" web strap so I can't think of anything else that's negative with this holster. It is for the 1911/Gov't and strangely it also fits perfectly my Ruger Flattop .44 Special w/4.75" bbl. The retention strap even works fine with both guns. The overall build quality of this holster is excellent. Its very well made.

[I made sure to upload pix of my guns in Temu holster to the China website. Americans with guns: they've heard the rumors let us illustrate our joyful birthright]

here it happens that, through cookies or some other computer devilry, temu sends you advertising about what it produces based on how much it spies on your sports preferences, hobbies, etc._ for example: if you hang out on motorcycle sites, sooner or later you will receive temu advertising regarding workshop tools or helmets, etc._ sometimes they guess right, probably_
Food is overrated. A nice rifle is way more important.

Well, I reckon you can buy prit-near anything off there. Looks decent though, would be good for someone wanting a very occasional holster for a gun they don't pack much.

I'm very glad you are happy with that inexpensive, multi-purpose holster set-up. If it works for you,, then all is good.

But I'm a firm believer in a quality holster built for the model I plan on carrying. Spend hundreds on a gun then cheap out on a holster makes me nervous.
And this past weekend,, at a range,, while watching a class being given,, I saw a few of the students with poor holsters for their guns. And yes,, I saw a Walther fall out of a holster & into the dirt. All I could think of how that gun likely suffered some marks on it.

I used to get "generic" holsters. Or I would wonder why someone would spend $$$ on a top quality holster. Until I tried one. The difference in how it balances a gun, and the ease of carrying in the field all day w/o fatigue,, made a believer of me.
Oh, I bought a gun once that had a serious scratch on it,, at a VERY good price. When I inquired about the scratch,, the guy said; "It fell out of my holster while I was bear hunting." The nylon shoulder holster he had with it went down the road soon after I got the gun!

Looks fine to me, see no reason in buying one for lots more money if that one feels right and carries right; come back later and let us know how it carries for long walks in the woods. Also looks like and having an open bottom, your holster would be ok for the 51/2 inch barrel, like mine has. The flat top 44's are great revolvers with plenty of power when loaded up a little more than standard.
