Ooo! Oooo! Now to get them to let me on their website...

Well apparently not..brand new phone, tried Edge and Chrome, rebooted etc etc. Too no avail. Perhaps because I'm currently in Northern Ireland. Ahh well, off to plan B.

Froggie ole mate, any chance you could post a photo of the item please?

I looked to see if I could snag a picture and couldn't find it . Not likely they do sales to NZ or Ireland either one. Probably have to get a local to buy it and either ship it or you could pick it up in person when you make your trip.

Got this 9mm set with the transitional S steel handles today . Very nice and very clean , almost like it was never used. Some dork added Steel to the original 9mm Luger marking on the end of the box. Other than that it's as close to perfect as you will find being as it's over 60 years old.

I got a very nice set of 25-20 with the S marked steel handles a couple of weeks ago for a song. It's the first set of handles i've seen like that which did not have one side broken out where the adapter ring screws in

“Froggie ole mate, any chance you could post a photo of the item please?”

I’m away from home right now, and it was in the paper catalog they sent me yesterday. I’ll try to post an image of the image when I get home. Did anyone else get their catalog yesterday?

Well done on those sets with steel”S” handles guys. They seem to be going away fast. Square butte, was your 25-20 set for SS or WCF? I had a set of each but a friend talked me out of the WCF set, but I load for SS anyway. I probably wouldn’t turn down a set of “S” marked steel handles that showed up reasonably.

Here is a picture of the page… I think you should be able to go onto their website and enter the item number in the search box.

Well, the forum won’t let me enter the image, so here’s the item # from the paper catalog ~ 20855-746574. I can’t tell for sure whether it is OD or camo, but it should work either way.

Eddie, that 9mm set is beautiful. Not sure I'd want to try to keep up with a plastic pistol with it, but it sure would be a neat complement to a single-shot 9x19 "Bunny Gun."

I've been absent for various unavoidable reasons, but have stolen a minute or to to peek in and see what's going on.

Since I've last posted here, I got a VERY nice 44 Special set, complete with a FLR die and bullet-sizing die. I'll watch for an extra set of handles, but have one set for now, which I will share between 357 and 44.

Talk about goodwill, as exhibited here, I've tried not to talk too much about needing a set to load 44 Special, because several people here have already been exceedingly generous to me and I didn't want to take advantage of the situation, but a dear friend, who I've infected with the 310 bug found a set and grabbed them, knowing I needed them.

I was ecstatic and traded him a pocket knife for the works. Don't worry, the pocket knife had some ridiculous collector value assigned to it. He felt it was "too much" for a set of dies, but it was doing me no good and made him happy, so we had a deal.

THEN, I find out that he himself didn't have a set of 44 310 dies and traded a pristine set to me, while he went without! The way I found that out was when he told me later he'd found himself a set too.

You really have to keep an eye on your best friends. They'll go and give you something they themselves need.

I'm enjoying using the 310 set for the 357, not just for nostalgic reasons, but I am loading "better" ammo with the MR and M-Type expander dies. I think what I am enjoying more is the friendship, fellowship, camaraderie and goodwill I've experienced since I finally got interested in these things.

Froggie, Eddie and Noah Zark have been a great help here. One other far-flung friend and one I actually SEE sometimes have made this such an enjoyable endeavor.

Anyone have a spare # 17 adapter ring I can trade you out of? It is what I need to complete a set in .30 Lugar!

Anybody have a set for .308? I really only need the decapping / sizing die….. but I’ll buy a whole set if need be to get it.
    Nothing on eBay for weeks

With just one rifle in that chambering and likely all I will shoot will be light Unique loads, I expect to get by with neck sizing and 2-3 boxes of cases.

If you decide to part with the 308W I’m interested…..

    I have a .30 M1 decap/resize die if that helps you

I was getting ready to list a .308 set but I may have a spare decapper. I'm held up these days as my dominant hand is in a cast due to a broken thumb... turns out , thumbs are pretty useful and you'll miss having the use of one! Even affects typing negatively!

Get well soon. Broken thumbs are the worst. They’re also - surprisingly - the most common skiing injury. They don’t ditch the poles when falling and when they try to break their fall, the pole pops the thumb out. Speedy recovery !!

I’m definitely interested in the 308 die. If you’ll part with the decap/sizer I’ll take it…. If not, I’ll take the whole 308 set if you won’t break up the set.

Thumbs are what separates us from most other animals. Unless you have say, tentacles or perhaps a trunk for instance, you might say they’re downright indispensable! Get well soon my friend.
