    MP 454423 in Freedom Arms 97 ?

I should have my first Freedom Arms soon, Model 97 in 45 Colt. The only appropriate mold I have at this time is my MP 454423. Do any of you have experience with this particular combination ? I think this is probably the perfect boolit for a lighter gun.

The FA97 has a short cylinder and only accomadates loaded cartridge OAL right at 1.600". Also diameter could be problematic. Pull the cylinder and use it as a cartridge gauge. Don't load a bunch of ammo before you have the gun in hand and are able to check ammo in specific gun's cyl.

    FWIW,

Can't advise on the Freedom Arms aspect, but I've run it in the 4.25" Redhawk with Unique driving it. It's a great choice if you want an option in that 1000fps-ish space that's more than ACP, but less than Casull.

I have used the MP 454-423 in .45 Colt. Crimping in the crimp groove my cartridges came out 1.60" and sizing the bullets at .454" they chambered and cycled fine in a 3rd Gen Colt SAA and in a USFA Rodeo.
