Need a mold for Son's .300 Blackout. Had ordered one from NOE but got caught in their shutdown. Don't know where to start. Suggestions needed since I'm completely in the dark.
He is using a suppressor and mostly purchased sub sonic.

NOE is still emptying inventory afaik but most useful stuff is long gone. I have his 4 cavity 247gn gas check mold but that's probably gone now.
The Lee 309-230 is fine, I Dremelled out the loob grooves as the boolits were stripping in my 1:5 barrel. I'd recommend a 1:5 barrel btw, at 100 yards especially with my 1:8 and a bit with my dad's 1:7 the boolit holes are looking extremely wobbly or even half keyholing with 1:8. Accuracy with the 1:5 is much better and the holes are very round.
Alternatively there's Accurate molds, haven't used them but they have some pretty heavy BLK designs. Go heavy, saves on powder and lowers the overall price even if you pay for lead
Would something like .311299 work? I have that mold in a couple of diameters.

I don't have specific suggestions, but have a look here, accurate has some(3) explicitly listed for 300BO. I imagine other of the heavy ones may work also.

Check out this thread. I believe this is an in stock mold now. It works well for me.

Unfortunately until MP figures out how to handle the tariffs you can't order from the US.

Lee 309- 230 worked well for me in my 1 in 8 twist powdercoated.
Yesterday I finally got to try some of the Lee 230 gr boolits in My BO Carbine. They seemed to work just fine. I had a minimal charge of Wc820 loaded up and it was almost enough to achieve lock back on the last shot.I may boost the charge a little bit, These were seated so that they just fit in the magazine . I also had some of the Lee 155 gr gas check boolits and have no complaint on how they performed. Both varieties were powder coated and in My reformed brass. Generally I have found this rifle to be pretty easy to get good results with. And the Lee boolits have performed pretty well>

The 150-160 grain range shoots slow just as well as the heavyweights and in more common 1:8 barrels.

Just clear the magazine in mine too. Forget the measurements
Heaviest I've shot is 185gr GC Ranch dog design. Worked well but not sub. Guy by the handle Taco has a heavy that works pretty good. My normal load is an Accurate 145gr GC or PB design. Works very well but again, not sub.
Whatever!
