    17 caliber rifle swage dies

I am trying to find a set of swage dies for making 17 caliber rifle bullets. So far, no joy. It seems neither of the Corbins make 17 caliber rifle dies.

Anyone have a suggestion? I don't care if it is reloading press, a fullblown swage press, or for the Corbin Silver press (the small diameter dies) dies. My preferred style would be for the Silver press but at this point I'm open to anything.

D Corbin made mine and I enquired a few months ago about getting more punches. They said, no dramas. They will be made to order and are not off the shelf. Expect $$$ but I have been drawing jackets and making 17 cal from Corbin dies for years.

You do not see a lot of info for the 17 cal. The swage dies are standard swage dies and need to be learnt like any other die. It is the making of the jackets which is just as important. D. Corbin made mine more than a few years ago. I requested a draw trim die to draw 22LR case to .170”. I got 3 different bottom punches for different jacket lengths. It works a treat but they sent me the type that you hit with a mallet to eject the drawn case. As the wait time frame was looooong I kept them a built my own ejection system that ejects the drawn jacket on the down stroke of the ram. Works a treat. Annealed 22LR jackets are a must and make very good jackets.
