So do you guys have any go to powders for the .41?

9 grains of Unique always worked good for everyday use with 210 and 220 gr bullets for all the .41 Blackhawks I’ve had.
I used max loads of W296 and 210 Hornady XTP for deer hunting.
A LOT of people chose the .41 over the .44 simply because Ruger didn’t make a 4-5/8” .44 magnum for the longest time.
And they usually became a .41 magnum FAN shortly after.

I use H110 (mostly) and 4227.
I use Titegroup for low to midrange loads and H110/296 for full magnums. I have found IMR4227 to be very accurate in my 41M’s. 4227 and 2400 allow for some flexibility in power.
I use Bullseye with low end loads under my Lee TL175 and TL210s, Unique for midrange [1000 fps] RCBS 41-210-KT, 2400 under the RCBS bullet for Magnum cast bullet loads and H110/296 under 210 gr Hornady XTPs for top end magnum level hunting loads.

Waco, I was about to ask you the phone number to that shop. I would have bought the thing and had it shipped to me. It would have been a dandy 41st birthday present to myself!
Blue dot is another good powder in the 41 and I use quite a bit of 2400 as was mentioned above.

Blue dot might as well be hens teeth in these parts.

Depends. I know it's a bit on the fast-burning side, but I have really taken a liking to Titegroup. My main bullet has been a 210 gr. SWC from an RCBS 41-210 mold. It and a little over 7 gr. of Titegroup yield 1100-1150 fps from all three of my .41's. The load is very accurate and so far I've taken four hogs with that load.

This bullet came out of a sow I shot a few months ago-
For a little more power, I like Longshot, good groups from it too.
The biggest waste of time is arguing with the fool and fanatic who doesn't care about truth or reality, but only the victory of his beliefs and illusions.
There are people who, for all the evidence presented to them, do not have the ability to understand.
