I bought a set of self adjusting, electric camper brakes (single axle) from etrailer. Good people to deal with. My son and I installed the brakes (and new hubs). Not hard to do. A week or so later, I called etrailer (several times) and said that they don't seem to be working as they should. Two service reps told me that you have to adjust them to a certain point before the self adjusting kicks in. Two other service reps told me not to adjust them. Well, I adjusted them as some reps told me. But, apparently, I over adjusted them and one of the hubs won't fit over the pads.
I called etrailer back and the service rep said, no, you do not adjust them. He said that because I received bad info from them he'll send me a new right brake, no charge (the left brake seems fine). If the left brake doesn't work, they'll replace that side two.
I miss my tent.
