1894 Trapper question

Hey everyone

Been shooting for probably 30 years, but I've never owned a bore scope until the other day. Gave it a test down the barrel of my new Marlin 1894 Trapper - roughly 100 rounds down range with it. Below is an image - is the machining pattern normal? I realize the scope acts as a bit of a microscope in that it enlarges imperfections a bit, but I honestly thought the barrel would be a lot.... smoother. Not trying to over analyze, and it shoots great - just wanted to sanity check and understand what I'm seeing.

The availability of reasonably priced bore scopes has been the bane of modern shooters since they’ve been made available.

Just about every mass produced barrel manufactured for or “by” a firearms manufacturer will have similar “imperfections”.

The imperfections you see in the rifling on your Marlin 1894 trapper are normal for mass produced barrels.

High end custom barrels will have “some” imperfections in the bore when they’re finished rifled but the manufacturer will “lap” those out so the interior is smooth and consistent throughout.

Thanks...that's more or less what I figured, I just wanted to validate. I picked up the scope as I plan to start shooting ARA Factory, and wanted to keep an eye on how things look as I test ammo lots. I know it's an easy path to over analysis....
