This thing is clean and tight. Very happy. It had a price on it of $589 until just a few days ago. Went in today and it was $499

How was the quality on those mid 80’s Rugers?
Weren't the Blackhawk 41's either 4 5/8" or 6 1/2" barrel lengths? I thought the 7 1/2" was only available on the Bisley.

    This one is 6 1/2”
The tag on the revolver was incorrect.

I like Unique for mid range loads, and 2400 for hot loads.
Due to the price of primers, warning shots will no longer be given!

9 grains of Unique always worked good for everyday use with 210 and 220 gr bullets for all the .41 Blackhawks I’ve had.
I used max loads of W296 and 210 Hornady XTP for deer hunting.
A LOT of people chose the .41 over the .44 simply because Ruger didn’t make a 4-5/8” .44 magnum for the longest time.
And they usually became a .41 magnum FAN shortly after.

Can't go wrong with those powders, they're pretty much all I've used in the 41 mag.

I use Titegroup for low to midrange loads and H110/296 for full magnums. I have found IMR4227 to be very accurate in my 41M’s. 4227 and 2400 allow for some flexibility in power.
