    PLS HELP w/ultrasonic tank solutions

ok I'm ready to unbox the ultrasonic tank cleaner I bought 10 years ago and fill it with some cleaning solution. I need a bit of advice from those of you who know what about this stuff.I have all kinds of stuff I could put in there including simple green concentrated formula, zep citrus degreaser concentrate, pine sol, dawn detergent, white vinegar, distilled water.
there is lots of all kinds of conflicting info on the inter web

from all I read about it I was thinking of trying something like a cup or 2 of simple green to each half gallon of water with a couple squirts of Dawn for good measure.
is this a good idea or do I want to use the simple green or maybe the citrus degreaser undiluted?

once I fill it with a solution mix can I use the same solution for cleaning brass for cleaning carburetors and other stuff?

For brass in my HF ultrasonic I use warm distilled water, some Dawn and a little LemiShine. I would think to clean something greasy you would want a slightly different solution.

For cleaning parts and machinery I use simple green precision clean mixed according to instructions, to light and rust inhibitors wont be strong enough. For brass cases lemishine and dish soap works well but a quick light tumble in rainx maintains it.
Watch aluminum parts in acidic cleaners as it will etch or erode the aluminum.
Some ultra sonics also dont recommend acidic cleaners to protect the tank
