Mmmm....interestingly usage. I think you are saying you size and prime first - off the press?.or have I misunderstood?

Actually I probably should first ask what cal your working on?

I have a size and decap die in first hole. And prime on the downstroke. Say doing 30-30 Win. Then I have a powder thru die. If its a pistol cal that can case mouth expand then i have a Lee Disc Powder measure on top to drop the charge. Of course I could also have a manual Lee Perfect installed and crank the handle. If a rifle case and I'm loading cast I'll have the Lee Universal Expander die in the second hole. Then in the third hole the bullet seater if pistol cal, or a powder die if rifle. The powder die could have a measure installed or just a funnel to drop a trickle weighed charge into. The fourth station for Pistol will have a crimp die set to straighten the mouth if headspacing on that, or providing a crimp if say for 38sp. For rifle cases there might be a bullet seating die and it may or may not offer a crimp. If I needed to free a station up to say allow a.Lee FCD die as the last operation, I'd take the case off the press to drop the powder in. Either a measured trickled charge or a powder measure dropped charge. Then the 2nd station would be bullet seating

I have a Loadmaster I want to sell and just haven't gotten around to advertising it. Shell plate for 45 ACP, updated powder measure, Case collator funnel etc. Everything but the dies, which I'm using on my Lee Six Pack Pro. Around here I'd expect to get around $150 for it on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. I've never sold on eBay or Gunbroker. I haven't looked recently on eBay to check prices, but although the ones listed were sold, they sold slowly. I recently sold a Lee Pro 1000 with an extra shell plate, ready to go except for dies for $100. I don't want to be involved in shipping because of the size of the press and accessories and finding a box, so I'll list mine locally - when I get around to it. Hey if any of you are from central PA, contact me if interested and I'll give you the full specs of what comes with it.

As an aside, the priming system caused me occasional problems until I put a small bevel on the primer pockets of the cases. That was a little work with a countersink on my drill press, but worth it. I noticed that all of the cases where I had problems had very small chamfers on their primer pockets. When I beveled the primer pocket with a countersink, those cases were primed on the Loadmaster without problem.

I bought a LoadMaster when they came out in in 92, and used it until 23, yes primer problems, but loaded thousands of rounds a year. Lee rebuilt the press twice! Lee offered me 1/2 off a new 6PP, and I bought it in 9mm, so I could sell the LoadMaster set up. I sold the press for $250 set up for 30-06, and included the 9mm dies and all the shell plates, and die holders I had. (I realized the other day, I still have several primer feeders, and spare parts for them!)

As you prefer single stage reloading, your Loadmaster should be good for you to keep.

Resize and prime all your brass off-press, like you do manually now, and feed the primed brass into the Loadmaster.

Think of it as a single stage that will do the remaining two operations at once. You get perfectly reliable powder dispensing and bullet seating / crimping.

Without priming, a Loadmaster is perfect.

The value of it is what someone is prepared to pay, Everyone who has one, or has had one has experienced the same problem/s , and knows that there are far more reliable progressive press options, including the new Lee models.

Ebay it. Maybe some newbie that doesn't know better will chase the price up.
