I like the way my Shield 40 fits in my back pocket so I finally coughed up the $$ to try these.
Boxer primed, #9 shot, and they function.
The fired case split but hey, the pattern at six feet is ok!

Can you make your own with 10mm brass necked down?
I think that it would be doable with 10 mm brass and some die experimentation.
These aluminum cases are actually a tad longer than 10 mm brass when fired.
