Really Slick Hand Decapping Tool - 3D printed

I was reading a thread on another forum where everyone was complaining about their reloading press not doing a very good job of collecting all the spent primers. Eventually the discussion ran into using a standalone hand tool to decap your brass. I saw a link & a YouTube about this BPCR3D tool. I was intrigued & the price was low so that I ordered one. It is very ingenious & works very slick! You might want to check it out if you haven't already.

I have one of these and decapped about 1,000 9mm with it with zero problems. It's a great little tool

How long did it take to do all 1,000? I love the 3D printed aspect of this, but it seems like there would be a lot of downtime to empty the catcher.

Talked to the guy and he says it doesn't work very well with handgun cartridges so he is making some improvements so it will. But still a nice design. I will buy one when the improvements are done. He didn't give me any idea when this will happen.

I'll stick with removing the primer and sizing with the same stroke on the Rock Chucker...

    Thumbs up

If it works for you but I couldn’t imagine doing a thousand 9mm cases with it.

It will hold maybe 20 primers? I don't remember exactly. I used it while doing other stuff, and also packed it in my range bag so I could deprime at the shooting bench. It's a handy inexpensive tool
