That one is in the shooters world manual, they seem to use saeco molds for their cast data.

That shouldn't be a problem for you with a 5.5" barrel.

7gr of longshot would probably do it.

I seated the lee 175 tc to 1.142 oal.

The longshot load had one high shot, could've been my Hornady powder dispenser drifting a bit, sometimes it becomes possessed by P.,O. Ackley, I usually catch it.

These were from a 4" barrel and the slide speed was pretty high. With the heavier g22 slide and 5.5" barrel I think you can get to 1200fps with 7gr of longshot and keep the slide speed reasonable.

These loads were safe in my pistol. Always work up slowly, I dunno what these loads will do in yours.

I have aftermarket extra strength springs in the gun from wolff springs. Some factory does not have enough such as some older russian steel case will barely work the slide with those springs on. I anticipate more recoil.

I do not like to use grease in self defense pistol loads. But I guess someone could coat and then also lube the bullets.
FYI, Lee Liquid Alox works great on conventional grease groove boolits and produces very little smoke. I dip each boolit shank in LLA and stand them up in a metal pan to dry overnight. It produces coverage similar to powder coating and the excess lube can be scraped up and added back to the bottle. This is how I do most of my rifle boolits.
    Currently casting and loading: .32 Auto, .380 Auto, .38 Special, 9X19, .357 Magnum, .257 Roberts, 6.5 Creedmoor, .30 WCF, .308 WCF, .45-70.

What is important is that it does not melt when stored say in car during summer and contaminate the powder.

I have never seen any evidence of LLA melting from rounds I have left in my car during the summer. As I understand it, dried LLA has a very high melt temperature (like over 400 degrees) and tends to stay put to whatever it is stuck on. The only time I have ever seen dried LLA turn back to liquid is by adding a solvent such as mineral spirits, which is what I use to recycle my runoff with.

Thanks. It sounds to be very heat resistant.

You got it, LLA is one of a very few products that mostly lives up to the hype. I would love to see it in stick form for lube sizer machines. You can get a blend, but I don't know of actual pure LLA in stick form. That being said, Tac-X (which can be purchased here from RandyRat) is also very heat resistant and comes in stick form. I have to heat my lube sizer with a chicken brooder lamp to get it to flow.
