    Need help with 1873 Trapdoor Rifle Stock Demensions

    On a 1873 Trapdoor rifle I know Lenght of pull is 13 1/2 inches. If I draw a straight line from reciever tang to end of butt I need the following, What is distance from tang to comb this will give me wrist lenght ( I need this) Now coming straight down from line from tang, what is drop to comb (need this) What is drop from this straight line to heel ? (need this )
    What is distance from heel to toe? How thick should wrist be? How thick is wood at receiver? From trigger to rear band spring what is distance? From this to front band spring what is distance? What is correct over all lenght of a trapdoor RIFLE stock? Have read 48 1/2 inches.
    Yes I am planning on making my own trapdoor stock, wish me luck!

    Maybe someone could do a outline of there 73 spring rifle . could use freezer paper to get it long enough. Just a Thought.
