I didn't see any mention of .223 grain weight, but this is the best combo for 55gr and up.

Thanks, that’s the one I’m using. It’s just standard 55 grain FMJ. I’m going to play with the angle of the feeder a bit and see if that helps. I did run some 75 grain through without any issue but won’t be making many with those bullets.

Start at at least 45 degrees. Also, for 223 I have a small screw backed out a mm or two on the slide plate. You want the angle steep and slide plate set so the bottom of the bullets doesn’t tilt off but in far enough the tips are off the ledge and force the flip. Too steep on the angle and the bullets won’t flip. Once I got the anlgle set and the slide plate backed out for 223 never had have had to move it and same angle works form 9 but I have the plate set all the way in.

It appears as though this is where I’m getting the issues from. The bullet in leaning into the far back corner. Everything else seems to flip properly.

Hi, I think you are using the wrong plate for 223. I am using the “small rifle bullet #2” and yours looks different. Mine is a few years old so maybe it changed???
