Lee TL 95gr RF in the S&W BG 2.0

Anybody using this bullet in the s&w bg 2.0 and if so, how does it work?
I've seen some reports of the bg 2.0 not feeding certain flat nose bullets.
Any info or replies would be welcome. Thank you.

I've seen the new and old BG's run Winchester's Q4206 flat point FMJ without issue - basically the same profile.

I don't know that we've actually polled, but the Ranch Dog in Lee, NOE, Accurate or other format may be the forum's unofficial .380 bullet of choice. While I don't recall seeing mention of it being used in Lorcins or Hi Points, I think the collective brain trust here has run it in just about every legit design you care to mention. If by some freak it doesn't run in the new BG (a gun worth having, IMO), you'll want the mold for something else.

Runs well in mine! I had to bump the powder charge up from the low end in the book to get the slide to lock.

I like the six cavity mold. It shoots as good as the Lee 102.

Thanks Nate. Can you tell me what size do they drop from the mold?

Mine have typically dropped around .355-.356 of an inch. If I powder coat them I can just barely get them to kiss the walls of a .358 sizer for using in 38spl. My alloy is 50/50+2% WW Range Scrap and Tin.

Also, I typically size to .357" for my Bersa - I don't own a bodyguard...

I have one of the RD originals, and it has run in every .380 I own except a Llama. I have used it successfully in a Mauser Hsc, an Interarms Walther PPK/s, two Browning 1910's, a S&W PPK, a Colt Mustang, a Ruger LCP, a Remington R-51, two Beretta 84s, and a SIG 232. 2.7 Grains of WW 231 and an OAL of ~.925 and Bob's your uncle, as our friends across the pond say, when they aren't speaking Arabic.

If I remember correctly, .355-.356 before powder coat. I coat them and they just touch the sides of the .358 Lee sizer.

I liked em in my hi point, but they and the gun didn’t feed well. Nice little pill. Shot them as cast.

I haven't used the one I have yet. Been aiming to work up loads for the wifes Bersa for a couple years now. Lee TL356-95-RF

Oh, I forgot a couple of guns that have worked well, with this boolit; the Astra 300, the Beretta 70s, my LCP and the Tanfoglio GT 380.

The only gun I have had that doesn't work well with this boolit is the Llama IIIA. It invariably jams on the last round in the magazine, whether you load one, two, five rounds or eight. It will also sometimes hang up on the feed ramp as you wend your way to the last round FTF. What is annoying is that my old Buddy Cole had one that ran like a top on anything you put in it. YMMV, but mine would be a pretty weak reed to lean on.

It should be interesting to see if my wife's Bersa Thunder 380 will feed it. So far, of the factory ammo we've tried, including winchester TC, the only ammo it was unreliable with was tula steel cased.

I have used that bullet for use in a Walther PK380 where it works well. Also works in a friend's LCP. Will try next batch in a couple more pistols. Use Lee tumble lube and size .358 with an OAL of .960.
