I got this mold several years ago and haven't done much with it. I need to re-visit that. I do have notes that I tried one load and got an 1 7/8" group at 50 yards for 15 shots. That was the only time I tried it. I need to do a ladder test to improve on that or try a different powder. I did some casting today with the mold. It's a bronze mold with each block being part of each hinge half. So apparently they make a casting of the handle stub, hinge and block and then machine the block square and cut the cavity. The hinge is very tight, but opens freely, with no play in the joint. It's a plain, bevel based .30 caliber bullet of approximately 175 grains. The bevel is very slight, only enough to make loading easy.
