    Accurate 36-180UG

I have a 686 that is very accurate with LBT 180 gr GC boolits made by Grizzly Cartridge that I bought years ago but I am almost out of them. I bought the same from Montana Bullet Works and now they are defunct. My 357 Maximum shoots them really good as well. Now, I need to feed a 35 Rem Contender and I have seen where several people have bought the 36-180UG mold from Accurate. Has anybody here got one and how does it perform for you. Attachment 339296

    Hello Tereh,
I don't own that mold so can't give an opinion there. The RCBS 200 grain mold is the GOLD standard for 35 caliber rifle cartridges, especially the 35 Remington . Lee as well as others make clones of it.
    Good Luck to you,
    Rick

The RCBS might be a good mold but it wouldn't work in a 686 cylinder. I need a mold that will work in all 3 guns listed above.

Saeco #354 is similar but a smaller meplat and single lube groove. #353 is the plain base version. I have the #353 and achieve groups around 6 inches at 200 yards from a Marlin 357 carbine with peep sights.
