As slow as they go, they don't really need the high tech stuff.

When the supply of broken crayons ran out, I switched over to 'liberating' some of Mrs. Winger's
fu-fu candles. I melt them down, and add hi-temp. disc brake grease.
To test the hardness, I dip a stick in the pot, let it cool, and feel it.
When it's 'just right' I heat it up as needed and pour it into my RCBS lube/sizer when I'm done.
Then, it's ready to run for the next session.

The down side is when I shoot them, and the smell drifts around,,,,, I get strange looks.
One guy asked me if I got my ammo from some place in San Francisco.
I also use the remnants of my wife's candles. One of the other shooters at the pistol range remarked on the "sweet" smell and wanted to know what kind of powder I was using.

Probably because the company is for sale, odd they didn't update their website to show the same information that shows in a web search.

It looks like my first attempt at lube will be with Carnauba Red.

Firstly, I’m no expert… until recently I used thinned LLA but now used a RCBS Luba-a-matic 2 with BAC…

It’s soft enough to use in the cooler temps of Scotland, but even on our slightly warmer days it extrudes through the die as it softens so probably not ideal for Texas. It’s seems quite sticky even at moderate temps 20C, I like it though…
    May we achieve our aims....

Great choice. I put a copper plate under my 45 and set a small travel iron on it, then plugged the iron into a PID to control the heat. You will have to play with the heat but once you get the hang of it lube away.
