Has anyone heard from forum member DougGuy? He honed the cylinder throats of many of our cylinders over the years and does a FANTASTIC JOB!!! I’ve never been disappointed in his work.
It’s been a few weeks since I’ve heard from him. And no response to private messages. I hope he hasn’t fallen down on health issues again.
Any word??

I believe he posted about some medical issues and slowing down his work load a bit. Nice guy. I always had positive interactions with him. I would enjoy him posting even if he stops doing any barrel or cylinder work at all. He is a wealth of knowledge. I hope things are going well for him and wish him the best.

I have no complaints about Doug. He has done all my cylinder work with very good results. I’m concerned about him and the factor that he has a cylinder of mine and can’t get a hold of him.
Lol, I have sent him SEVERAL 45 cylinders, a few 357s, and a 480 for some extensive work. All this has been over the last periodic 15+yrs

I just spoke with Doug. He is ok but a little under the weather. He indicated he was resting and will be back online soon.
