    Replacement expander for Lee universal expander die

    Does anybody make these any more?

    I'm making half jackets from 40 S&W brass. Have to trim down to 0.44". This is too short for my lee expander to open the brass to .451+". Need a new expander made with the same initial diameter and a steeper angle to accomplish this. The current diameter allows lead to bleed down along the side of the brass preventing the nose from filling out.

    "Track Of The Wolf" still shows cheap expanders for the Lee die. I have bought oversized inserts from them and worked them down a little with a drill and sand paper.

    CH will also make custom expanders and dies, but not for Lee dies.
