    .30 cal swaging dies

With the very high cost of 30 cal bullets I'd like to start swaging, I already have BT Sniper 224 dies so who makes a good set of dies for forming 30 cal bullets from 5/16 tubing?, thanks in advance

I use BT Sniper dies to make jackets from 5/16 copper. Takes different punch for different jacket lengths. I have two punches that I can make bullets of 150 grain and 175 grain full jacketed bullets. I can make exposed lead nosed bullets of various weights in the Bullet swaging dies.

I use Corbin Dies for swaging the jacketed bullets after cores are manufactured.

    For the bullet swaging dies:
    BT Sniper about $3000
    Corbins.com about $775 requires their press $1000
RCE about $550 requires their press $550
BSS about $400 requires their press $300

For the jacket making dies: (All 3 made the tubing jacket forming dies in the past. Will they make them now ???)

I have a set of BTS tubing jacket dies for 308. They work well enough. I have really fine sets of RCE tubing jacket dies for 510,500,458,416,375,358,338. The 338 tubing jackets could be reduced for 308 with extra dies. I guess you can tell which ones I prefer.

    BT Sniper current availability ???

Corbins.com They have a set of tubing jacket making dies for 1/2" tubing 3/4" long and 1/2" long in their clearance section right now for about $350. They would probably make reducing dies for you to get them down to 308 for you at additional cost, or your could buy custom reducing dies from Lee or CH. They might even make an extra punch for 1/2" tubing 1" long. When you reduce to 308, the jacket will get longer.

    RCE current availability ???

I make a pretty decent 180gr bullet in 308 using 5.7x28 brass. It can be made from other brass as well.
