Guntab question

Does anyone have any experience using Guntab? Good or bad, pros or cons? I'm getting a bunch of brass ready to list and although I've never had a problem with PayPal the horror stories abound. Thanks!

Also gives sellers who aren't in business the ability to accept a credit card payment without fuss or fee.

They use one of the worst hosting service providers there is "digitalocean". That company is know for their lack of taking care of criminals on their networks, so I am not doing business with companies that use them. In fact, I have blacklisted Digitalocean's complete network on my servers. If guntab switched to a more reputable provider, I would take them serious and would consider them.

I've had nothing but great experiences using it. As mentioned, it is an escrow service designed to protect buyers and sellers alike. Payment goes into escrow, when the product arrives and is verified Guntab releases the funds to the seller. I highly advise it's use.

The problem, it was only ever popular on GunBroker. And GunBroker did away with it to try and start their own version. Making it rarely used now. But with all the problems we've had with PayPal, we absolutely should be using it more. But especially on this forum, many are set in their ways...

You're welcome! I wish a lot more people would use it! It is much more safe than using a MO or Check by mail. Maybe not as convenient as paypal. But at least it doesn't discriminate against me for using it to buy firearms related stuff...

It is interesting that Musk left PayPal in 2002 and that was the year PayPal banned it's use for gun related purchases. It mkes we wonder if we would still be using PayPal if Musk has stayed. But Musk had bigger fish to fry.

Banned for use on gun related purchases ? that is complete nonsense. ebay insist on using paypal and the gun related stuff is one of the most heavily used categories. I have used pp for 100's of gun related purchases. NEVER had any trouble of any kind. just sayin..

fwiw - Ebay divested itself from PP years ago + started their own system, but they still accept it but do not insist on anyone using it -

And also, Paypal is absolutely anti-gun. It's their rules. You may get away with using it. But they will absolutely remove your account if they feel like you're violating those rules.
