I click the gas checks on to the powder coated bullets with my thumb then they get crimped on as they get pressed through the Lee hand press with breech lock 309 lee sizer bushing.

I make pistol bullets only and use gas check molds, coat then size but do not apply gas checks.

All seemed to cover well, the purple I thought was going to be the thinnest before baking. But the black and dark green ended up being the thinnest. All will still shoot the same.
The yellow surprised me, best coverage I have seen with any yellow so far.

I also mixed the colors before switching to a new color, I must say that the purple/yellow mix is really nice

    This thread has been quiet.

I've been doing 45-70 lately, these shoot clean and accurately. 1700 fps from a Marlin SBL. About 1" / 75 m -but I have an Aimpoint so groups are a bit hard to shoot.

Left bullets are Applegate 475 grain soft nose (160 grn of pure lead in the nose). Middle are Mihec 450 grain HP, right two are solid Applegate 475 grainers.

Colours are random mixes that keep changing.
