    ATM Possumer 3000 mold

    G'Day All
I've just received my new mold for a Marlin 375 that hasn't arrived yet. The mold was made by Dave Macarthy of Accurate Tooling & Machining. (fax 618 8261 2858) I asked him for a.378 200 grain hollow point GC and as he knows I shoot possums with cast boolits out of my other guns he named it the possumer 3000. To say I'm impressed with the mold would be a under statement, it's a work of art but I've got to wait for the rifle to try it. I'll keep you all updated. I can't work out how to put images on so if someone can help I'll email them the pics.

    Sounds interesting.

Any chance of some pictures of the mould and what she drops?

Also could you indicate price. Always interested in hearing about good mould makers.

my 375 marlin seems to prefer 379 sized boolits in longer 38-55 cases.

SciFIJim Has offered to post some pics for me. I'll be seeing Dave next week (hopefully) as I haven't got a bill yet. Once I know how much I'll let you all know. He is reputed to have over 400 cherries so the possibilities that he'll have molds people are looking for are good. I do know for the next month he'll be hard to contact, as he is going to the USofA to compete for Australia in the Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette nationals in New Mexico .
runfiverun I am intending to try a .379 LEE 250grain casty in the marlin as well. I intend to pan lube it and shoot it unsized. As this will be my main fodder for it, it will be easier and quicker to just panlube. Also I was going to try water Quenching that bullet cast with WW so I wouldn't want to size.
