    Lucky find today

at the thrift store. It's been 3 or 4 years since I made it to north Raleigh to do a job with a little extra time to hit up one of my old stops. I wasn't even sure the thrift store was still there since so many disappeared after the asian flu thing. The place was packed and had been rearranged. Found the flat ware and there sat a few stacks of Jefferson cups. 4 cups per stack was $2. There was 5 stacks. Most times they weigh .25lbs each so should be about 5 lbs. That's like $10. Figure it's a buck for tax. Total $11. It's called Three Ministries Thrift Shop so if it's under $11 I'll still give them $11. Big spender, right. Weighed them when I got home. 5lbs 9.5ozs. So it came to less than $2/lb. Keep them eyes open.

    Good for you.

For me, Sunday the Good Will store has $1 for a certain color of tag. The 2 lb. Quadruplate-silver plated pewter- item that was $7 was now $1, so it came home with me.
